After a long day at the market, Nala climbs onto the boda-boda behind Mama, tired and longing for home. But the bumpy ride turns into something unexpected when Mama shows her how to notice the world along the red dirt road. Soon each jolt of the journey reveals a new wonder, and by the time they arrive, Nala's heart is full of the big, beautiful world around her. A rhythmic bedtime read-aloud with a refrain that fades gently into sleep, just like a drowsy child.
