My Hadithi is a family book website that helps raise readers with illustrated books online. We write our own books and group them by CBE level so families can pick a shelf that fits. They are not official school textbooks. Parents and caregivers create an account (including Google sign-in) to unlock books on a personal bookshelf, with optional reading plans and secure checkout.
My Hadithi sells digital access to illustrated books we write and publish. We group them by CBE learning level so families can pick a shelf that fits their child. They are independent family books. They are not official curriculum materials, school textbooks, or books from the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) or the Ministry of Education.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Parents and caregivers should manage accounts on behalf of children in their care.
Each unlock gives you 12 months to read from the unlock date. When that period ends, the book leaves your bookshelf. You can unlock it through the bookshop or a reading plan, the same as the first time, for another 12 months. Past payment records do not restore access on their own. We may update the catalogue, pricing, or features over time.
A reading plan is a paid subscription. It renews automatically at the price and interval you chose (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account. Auto-renew stops; books you already unlocked stay until their 12 months end. Paystack plans cancel in your account. M-Pesa standing orders (Ratiba) can also be cancelled from your account, or through Safaricom if needed.
Paid features are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Paystack or M-Pesa). All purchases are final. Once payment is completed, we do not issue refunds, credits, or exchanges for book unlocks, reading plans, collections, or other paid features, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us promptly so we can review the transaction.
You may request to close your account from account settings. We send a confirmation email; until you confirm, nothing changes. After you confirm, your account is deactivated and auto-renew is cancelled. You have 30 days to recover the account (including via a reminder email about one day before deletion). When that window ends, we permanently delete your profile, bookshelf unlocks, and reading plan. A new signup with the same email starts as a new empty account.
After account closure completes, we keep payment and transaction records (such as amount, date, what was purchased, provider reference, and contact details needed for receipts or disputes) for finance, tax, fraud prevention, and support. Our payment partners may retain their own copies of charges according to their policies. We do not restore unlocked books to a later account created with the same email.
The affiliate program is for customers who have bought a book, collection, or reading plan. Eligible customers may receive a personal invite link from their account.
Friends who create a new account through your link may receive a first-purchase discount when a discount rate is set. You may earn a commission on referred purchases of books, collections, and plans (including renewals) at the then-current commission rate. You do not earn commission on your own purchases. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Commission and discount rates may change. We may pause or end affiliate access if we suspect abuse or misuse, including bulk messaging, bought contact lists, or misleading claims. If you post about My Hadithi in public, do not hide that you may earn when someone buys through your link.
Withdrawal and payout are not available yet. We are finalizing the payout flow. Partners can withdraw only once we enable it. Rewards remain subject to these terms until paid. Commissions may be taxable. When payouts start, we may withhold tax as Kenyan law requires and pay you the rest.
Use My Hadithi only for personal, non-commercial family reading. Do not attempt to copy, scrape, or redistribute book content except as the service explicitly allows.
