This CBC-aligned picture book follows a determined young Kenyan girl through a gusty farmyard rescue, using rhythmic repetition and Swahili words to build early reading confidence. It models cooperation between parent and child, rewards persistence in the face of small chaos, and closes with the quiet warmth of a job done side by side. A reassuring read for families who want their children to see themselves as brave, capable helpers.
