Set in a real Nairobi neighbourhood, this story follows Barre as he navigates a civic reporting app where neighbours earn points for flagging local problems. When he discovers someone is cheating the system, Barre must choose between chasing a digital reward and fixing a long-ignored water leak that affects everyone. A timely and thoughtful read about integrity, empathy, and what it really means to make a difference in your community.
The Water at Plot 42
